5 Handy Free Android Apps

If you have an android phone or tablet then here are 5 suggestions for handy free apps:

1. Astro File Manager: As the name suggests its an excellent app for viewing orgainising and sorting all your files on your android device.
2. QuickPic: A neat little photo viewer gallery. Fast and easy to use with many options.
3. TuneIn Radio:  A streaming radio app which can give you over 70,000 different stations from all over the world.
4. SoundHound: This app lets you sample any tune you happen to be listening to on the radio or TV for example and identify the track and artists.
5. Barcode Scanner: Scan bar codes on products of all kinds and the app will look up prices and reviews etc.

 

Update: I would now recommend ES File Explorer rather than Astro File manager. Seems to be a little slicker and can browse network shares easily.
